For every new like we will donate 10p to the Philippines (to a maximum of £1,000). We currently have 1200 likes, we need to get 10000 new likes to send £1,000 to the Philippines.

We would like to send money next weekend, so get liking . If every existing like gets just 10 people to like them that would be £1000.

Typhoon Haiyan slammed into the Philippines on Friday (8 November), causing catastrophic damage. It is the strongest storm ever to make landfall, hitting an area where thousands of people are already homeless after an earthquake in mid-October.

The 300-mile wide typhoon – locally known as Yolanda – has left a trail of destruction with thousands feared dead. The full extent of the damage will become clearer in the next few days as rescue teams reach the more remote areas.

How we can help?

£30 could buy 14 blankets to keep people who have lost everything warm
£60 could buy six hygiene kits for those who lost everything to prevent the spread of disease
£100 could buy ten tarpaulins to help make temporary shelters for those who have been left homeless.

Mother Natures Goodies Supports Children in Need 2013

Mother Natures Goodies ease Team Rickshaw aches.

Team Rickshaw visited Abergavenny on Wednesdat as part of their fund raising efforts for BBC Children in Need. By the time they had left Abergavenny the total raised by the Team at that point was a little over half a million pounds.

Offering practical  support were Blaina Company, Mother Natures Goodies, who put together a hamper of natures best, to help ease the aches and pains caused by spending so much time in the saddle. The hamper included natural massage oils, salts, bath oils and even a nappy rash cream that would be perfect for tender areas of redness. Liz Oatley, founder of Mother Natures Goodies, suppliers of 100% natural essential oils and aromatherapy products, said her team wanted to do something to thank all those involved in Team Rickshaw for their efforts. They came up with this unusual pamper basket and hope that it was put to good use by Alex Jones, Matt Baker and the Team.” Some of the items in the hamper may have looked a little strange, for example Epson salts, but these would have been a wonderful foot soak, before applying our cooling peppermint foot cream. Just in case the team needed help, we gave them our web site address where they could hopefully find a few useful tips.”
